As many of you know, today is my birthday :) And it was seriously such a great day!!
It started off with texts from my best friends, wishing me a happy birthday. Then Boyo brought me my favorite iced coffee from Dunks :) Then my best friend gave me these gorgeous flowers and Wheat Thins (it’s a long story) and Burt’s Bees and gum and that cool crackle nail polish!!! She also promised a card, which i will gladly wait for since they’re the best cards!! THEN my other best friend gave me a journal that she painted runes on from TMI!!!! it is so awesome, i’ll post a picture of it in a minute, and on the inside of the journal she wrote me a letter about how we’re like parabatais and i almost started crying :’)
And then i had two free periods basically because this is the week that seniors at my school are doing these presentations they need to pass in order to graduate. and in advisory we had cake for me, and Lisa (one of my sisters) brought me in Panera for lunch, and she also made me homemade brownies!!!!!!!! This is a pleasant shock because a) this is the sister i’m least close with and b) she doesn’t cook. I know a lot of people say they don’t cook, but i mean, my sister forgot to put the water in with Easy Mac and it burned :/ ANYWHO. they were delicious and it was nice day at school!
Then Boyo and I went back to my house and we worked on this project we’re doing for Lit and then my mom made mac and cheese <3 and my dad had my usual birthday cake that i ask him to make and Lisa gave me awesome nail polish and my mom gave me a yoga mat AND GUYS GUYS GUYS SHE SAID SHE PRE-ORDERED ‘THE DREAM THIEVES FOR ME, YOU KNOW, THE SEQUEL TO ‘THE RAVEN BOYS’??? AND IT’S GUNNA BE AUTOGRAPHED/DOODLED IN BY MAGGIE STIEFVATER AND I’M SO STOKED!!!
Unfortunately i had to do hw but now i’m just chilling! i’ll go paint my nails and then read before bed!!!
But seriously, this is definitely the best birthday EVER. i think what made it so great is that so many people that i care about made it special, you know? i had all of my friends at school wishing me a happy birthday, and i have all of you guys on here that make it special, and my family too, and just, gahhhhh i love you all so much!!
